NEW YORK, New York — Moses Levi, the rapper known as Shyne, saw his career cut short when he was jailed on a 10-year-sentence on charges related to a 1999 incident also involving Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jennifer Lopez.

Diddy – then known as “Puff Daddy” – was acquitted, and with Shyne’s sentence now finished, the rapper has denied that his former mentor spoke with him recently to clear the air.
