Call for Contributed Papers and Posters. Deadline: November 1, 2009. Friends of the Environment will hold its 4th biennial Abaco Science Alliance Conference in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, January 7th- 10th 2010. This meeting will include contributed papers (oral presentations), and contributed posters panel discussions. We invite submission of contributed papers and posters on the findings of your research on the natural history of the Abaco’s/Bahamas at this conference. Papers will not be published, so we encourage reports from the author’s most recent scientific investigations and management experiences.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — It’s been a big year for Jason Schwartzman — a new album with his band Coconut Records, film roles in “Funny People” and the November-due “Fantastic Mr. Fox” and the starring part in the HBO show “Bored To Death” — but he told AccessHollywood.com at the “Fantastic Mr. Fox” premiere at the AFI Fest in Hollywood on Friday that one thing stood out.

“The highlight of the year is of course getting married,” Jason said of his July wedding to designer Brady Cunningham. “Married life is incredible — it’s great, it’s like having the most incredible roommate in the world.”

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Wes Anderson has explored the ocean’s depths in the nautical “The Life Aquatic” and voyaged by train through India in “The Darjeeling Limited,” but the director has another place still to explore – the final frontier.

“I’d like to do a movie in space,” Wes told AccessHollywood.com on Friday at the Hollywood premiere of his latest film, the animated Roald Dahl adaptation “Fantastic Mr. Fox.”
